I feel most alive when I’m writing.
When words are dripping from my finger tips like candy.
And I could be anywhere, be doing anything,
so long as the words keep whispering to me.


It’s been a minute since I started Our Nourished Table. I started writing practical things at first, like recipes and why batch cooking rocks. And then, through my own healing journey, I decided to start writing about heart things instead. About life and heartbreak and bodies. I started telling pieces of my story, as the words came to me.

I wanted to take a minute to re-orient you with the site, and the focus. So many people are new here. And things have certainly evolved since day one.

So here goes.

A few years ago I fell in love with plant-based eating. I learned that plants make me feel alive and vibrant. I loved spending Sundays in the kitchen, preparing food for the week. But almost as quickly as I fell in love, I used this way of eating as a tool to control my body. I turned plant-based eating into yet another diet. This control was a big red flag telling me that I needed to work through some bigger issues. I had to confront my perfectionist ways and instead, and learn to embrace my wildness.

I found intuitive eating, and fell in love with ice cream again. I still love plant-based eating and batch cooking. But I also love champagne, and fancy cheese, and hot chocolate too.

I coach people towards developing a more loving relationships with their bodies and spirits. We practice breaking out of a perfectionist mindset and facing fears head on. We ditch food rules, and life rules too.

I also host mindful dinner parties. These parties are places where we can practice ditching food rules together. It is a space for community and compassion. Where we practice listening to our bodies and honoring their unique cues.

And then, I write. I write for you, but also, I write for me too. Our Nourished Table has become my little home on the internet, where I share favorites and stories. Where I can write poetry and lists. Writing is one of my favorite self-care tools.

I hope that Our Nourished Table is a place where you can take a deep breath. Where you can let go of all the “shoulds” and just be you instead. Welcome. I love you already.
