I thoroughly enjoyed working with Amy on my health goals. I’ve visited counselors before (and I even provide therapy at my job) and I have to say, Amy is up there with the best of them. Her style is a lovely mix of calm, love, acceptance, creativity, play, and feminine ferocity. I looked forward to each one of our sessions, and I loved the flexibility of phone and email support. During each conversation she asked me thoughtful questions, helped me make connections, and held a space of care and non-judgment for me to safely explore. She helped me set realistic weekly goals to courageously step forward toward my larger goals. Her weekly emails with summaries and explorations were also amazing. I felt like one of my favorite bloggers was writing a manifesto about MY LIFE, and it was such a treat. Looking back on our first conversation, I can see how far I’ve come in understanding and caring for myself, my health, and how I interact with the world around me.
